How to invite the outside in

While the weather is turning cold outside you can still enjoy nature in the comfort of your own home.
This guide will show you how to bring the outside in.
Choose an area of your home that connects with the outside.
What you’ll need
- Dust sheet
- Painters tape or masking tape
- 2" brush
- Valspar Premium Walls & Ceilings Paint
Follow the steps in the video:
Step 1
Prepare
Cover the area with a dust sheet. Mask the edges of walls, frames, skirting and ceiling. Go for earthy neutral or green colour like Morning Hush, Portobello Cream or Scottish Highlands. In the video we used Silver Eucalyptus.
Step 2
Paint
Load a 2” brush. Cut in around the edges. Load up a roller and roll paint onto surface. Work your way across the wall. Repeat with second coat after 2 hours. Remove tape while paint is still wet.
Step 3
Decorate
Add bare wood tones. Dress with indoor plants.
