Terrible paint
I bought this a week ago and within days it was chipping off, I emailed customer service as soon as we noticed it happen and we still haven't had a response. For £54 a tin I expected it to do a better job than cheaper brands.im so disappointed in the product and customer service.

Be careful on your colour choice
Despite the poor reviews on quality I decided to take a risk. As it stands the quality of the paint is good and holding up well.
However, be careful on the colour you choose. When painted on the decking it will look different to the sample in store. In my case it just wasn’t slightly different it was a lot. Unfortunately, as I have found out, this paint is not included in the love your colour guarantee. So it could be a very costly project.

Useless
Second time trying this paint, thinking they may have improved the flaking problem. But no. Again money down the drain. Why can’t the company sort this fault?

Paint Peeling after 4 days
Have always used Valspar decking paint. Bought paint two weeks ago, spent a day painting the decking only for it to start peeling 4 days after. So disappointed, won’t buy Valspar again

Terrible
I have used valspar before on walls and furniture and been over the moon with the results. I painted the decking on 19th May and today is the 22nd. I can see the product coming away. So disappointed I didn’t read any reviews before buying this as it is obviously a typical fault with the paint from reading the reviews. I just assumed that it would be as good as the other products. I was totally wrong. I purchased from B&Q on a recommendation from the store assistant. The paint was more expensive than other products but I thought, well you get what you pay for,.......NO. I expected a paint to not come off 3 days later. All that time painting it and making sure all the part of the board was covered only to find it rubs off.

Velspar decking paint peels away afrer 2 days!
I bought this product a few weeks ago. We waited for perfect conditions, prep'd large area and painted the product on. The result was fabulous and we were thrilled - however 2 days later my husband walked across it and paint just peeled away. Now its peeling away in a large area. All that hardwork and money down the drain! Wish i had read the above review first!!! We are about to start rubbing down again. Dont waste your money and time.

Valspar Decking Paint
Spent £200 at B&Q on 4 5L tins of this stuff for our large decking area. Looked gorgeous for a month but now it’s wearing off. So disappointed. Was told it should last years.

Horrendous Product
Last summer, I bought Valspar decking paint at the cost of £160.00. Sanded and prepared as per the instructions, only to find it was peeling after just a few weeks. I decided that it would be too late in the year to re-apply another coat, to try and rectify the problem. I've left it until now to contact Valspar, I'd emailed them photos of the problem, They have informed me that I'm entitled to a £50 Valspar decking voucher. Well, thank you but disappointing to say the least. So Just to clarify, I'm expected to put another £110.00 towards more paint and go to the effort of sanding and preparing the decking yet again, to get a finish that I would had assumed I'd achieve the first time, but why would I want to do this if the product obviously doesn't work in the first place? Sorry its a complete waste of money.
