Disappointed
Purchased in April. Used within the first week of purchase. 5L classic. Should be mat but has a sheen. Has a peelable testure. Definitely not durable or scrubbable. Has required 2/3 coats. Waste of money! Would have returned but clearly states not refundable on the label. I honestly wish I had purchased an alternative well known brand. The wall actually required another coat. However, I am not prepared to waste any more money on the product.

Great range of colours
I found the exact colours I wanted in the Valspar walls and ceilings range. Other brands didn't offer the tones I was looking for but with the wide variety of colours Valspar offer I could choose the shades and warm tones to create the cosy room I wanted. The staff were incredibly helpful, offering suggestions and helping me choose the correct paint and finish for my project.

Valspar paint absolutely amazing
We have recently renovated our house and have used Valspar paint throughout for all our decorating needs. They offer a huge choice of beautiful modern colours and can also colour match to anything you like. Helpful staff (special thanks to the team at B&Q in Asda, Edmonton and the Enfield branch). Great paint coverage at affordable price. We have had so many compliments on our paint choices in the house!

Great product
Had my hall and stairs painted almost two years ago. They still look great. The paint lives up to its description of being washable … two boys and a dog have tested it to the extreme!

Used v500 in Snakecharmer to paint my lounge, and Glass Pebble for the hall and landing. Stunning colours (only complaint is too much choice!). Great coverage and easy to apply. Results are fantastic!

Awful paint
Bought this paint due to the colour we wanted, what a a waste of £80 pounds, we bought two large containers as we need a lot of paint for a large area, and we might of well of poured the money down the drain. Went on the walls terribly, it was just awful paint, having been painting for thirty years or so, and in the past I have used B&Q paint before I was happy with it sooooooo thought this would okay, how wrong was I, never again will I use this paint.

Beautiful blue from Valspar
I was looking for a very light blue colour to paint two walls in my quite small and dark room where I keep my American fridge, washer and dryer. I bought Valspar. It took three coats because the paint is a bit on the thin side. However both coverage and colour are excellent and each time I am in this room I am pleased about the colour and myself.

Struck Gold!
As a new home owner I’ve made many painting mistakes. I’ve used brushes instead if rollers, rolled a bit close to the ceiling, speckled the floor, painted Matt over silk, you name it I’ve done it. I spent a fortune on budget paint and ended up painting 4+ coats. Then I visited the Valspar stand at B&Q for some inspiration and after an incredibly long time (there’s so much choice!) I settled on Sea Dog for a feature wall. Best decision ever. This was the easiest paint job by far. The paint glided on effortlessly, and my cottage walls are by no means smooth. The coverage was exceptional. I didn’t really need a second coat but I did it anyway because it really was no effort at all. After a few months I decided to wipe away a few kid marks and fully expected to need to touch up but there is absolutely no evidence that I scrubbed my 4 year old’s sticky messes away. I’ll never be tempted by cheaper brands that promise the earth and deliver very little again.

Fabulous colour selection
With such a vast range of colour options I chose Valspar ‘Rock On’ purple emulsion to complement the wall and floor tiles in our new bathroom. It looks incredible and is a real talking point. I love the fact that it’s enabled me to have a unique colour that has impressed every that’s seen it!
