Love Your Colour Offer

If you purchase any 2.5L, 5L or 10L (any size combination up to ten (10) litres total in the same finish and colour) containers of tinted/colour mixed Eligible Valspar Product (as defined below) in a single transaction from a B&Q store (“Initial Valspar Product”) and aren’t satisfied with the colour, you can purchase from a B&Q store any other colour of the same Eligible Valspar Product in the same quantity as the Initial Valspar Purchase (the "Replacement Valspar Product") and then request a refund in the form of a bank transfer ("Refund") in an amount equal to the full purchase price of the Replacement Valspar Purchase (“the Offer”).

The Offer is subject to the following terms: 

1. The Offer is valid from 01.03.2019.

2. “Eligible Valspar Product” means 2.5L, 5L or 10L containers of the following tinted/colour mixed products

  1. Valspar Premium Walls and Ceilings Paint
  2. Valspar Classic Walls & Ceilings Paint
  3. Valspar Trade Tough Walls and Ceilings Paint
  4. Valspar trade Vinyl Walls and Ceilings Paint
  5. Valspar Premium Kitchen & Bathroom Paint
  6. Valspar Classic Kitchen & Bathroom Paint
  7. Valspar Premium Self-Cleaning Masonry
  8. Valspar Trade Season Flex Masonry Paint
  9. V&CO Walls and Ceilings Paint

3. To request your Refund, follow these instructions:

  1. After trying your Initial Valspar Product on an interior/exterior wall and determining that you aren't satisfied with its colour, purchase within 60 days of the date on your Initial Valspar Product’s receipt, the same volume (up to ten (10) litres total) in a single transaction of any other colour of the same Eligible Valspar Product at a B&Q store (“Replacement Valspar Products” as defined above).
  2. Apply approximately 1mx1m of the Replacement Valspar Product on the same wall adjacent to the Initial Valspar Product.
  3. Take a colour photograph showing the Initial Valspar Product and Replacement Valspar Product side by side on the wall (the "Wall Photo").
  4. Fill out a Refund Request Form (available at www.valsparpaint.co.uk/refund-request-form/).
  5. Submit Refund Request Form online and Valspar will contact you via email within 48 hours with a claim number. Rebate Request must be submitted within 60 days of the date on your Replacement Valspar Product’s receipt.

4. The Offer is valid only for purchases of Eligible Valspar Products.

5. The Initial Valspar Product and Replacement Valspar Product may not be purchased in the same transaction.

6. The Offer is open only to individual legal residents of the UK & ROI, who are aged 18 or over. The Offer is valid for individual consumers only and not for professional decorators or commercial projects. Refund Requests from groups/clubs/organizations won’t be honoured.

7. Refunds will be paid as a bank transfer within 30 days of submitting the Refund Request Form. All Refund Requests are subject to verification by Valspar. Valspar's decisions regarding Refunds are final.

8. Only one (1) refund per individual/household will be permitted per calendar year.

9. You are not required to return the Initial Valspar Product and/or Replacement Valspar Product to process your Refund Request and returns for this purpose aren't permitted/accepted. Disposal of unused Eligible Valspar Product and/or Replacement Valspar Product is the responsibility solely of the purchaser, not of Valspar or B&Q stores.

10. The Offer isn't available to Valspar employees (and their immediate family members/members of the same household). No incomplete, damaged, copied, mechanically reproduced, altered or forged Refund Request Forms, Wall Photos or receipts, not obtained through authorized channels, will be accepted. The Offer is void where prohibited, restricted or taxed, or if obtained through unauthorised channels.

11. Valspar isn't responsible for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, misaddressed or misdirected mail, email or other electronic communications, Rebate Request Forms, Wall Photos or receipts; errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects or delays in operations or transmission of information, in each case whether arising by way of technical or other failures/malfunctions of computer hardware, software, communications' devices or transmission lines; data loss, corruption, theft or destruction; or unauthorized access to or alteration of Offer materials. Valspar disclaims any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in, or accessing or downloading information in connection with, this Offer.

12. Valspar reserves the right, at its sole discretion, (a) to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the Offer without advanced notice; (b) to correct clerical, typographical or other errors in promotional materials; and/or (c) to disqualify any individual (and his/her Refund Request) who tampers with the Offer process. If this Offer is modified, cancelled, suspended or terminated prior to the stated end date, all eligible, non-suspect Rebate Requests received by date of such action will be honoured.

13. Valspar takes your privacy seriously. The personal information it obtains as a result of this Offer will not be sold to third parties but will be used solely for the purposes of this Offer, for its own customer research, business development and statistical purposes and to promote to Valspar’s business services and products. 14. This Offer and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it or its subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales, and you irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Offer. The Valspar brand is owned by The Sherwin-Williams Company and operated in the UK by Sherwin-Williams UK Limited. Any reference to the entity “Valspar” in these T&Cs is a reference to Sherwin-Williams UK Ltd. 

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS OFFER MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, VALSPAR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING ATTORNEYS' FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW, INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION.
