Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY, PAINT PEELS OFF WALLS We bought two tubs of this to paint our ceilings after we renovated our house, we used a professional painter and on the second day of painting the Painter noticed that the ceiling paint was peeling around the edges, he rubbed this down and then re-painted the ceilings the next day and the same thing happened again! After reading the reviews on your website and seeing that this has happened to numerous people we immediately stopped using your paint, rubbed the affected areas down and then used Dulux and no peeling occurred. I sent an email to the customer care team on 18th June but they havent replied! I repeat do NOT buy this horrendous paint!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely fuming I purchased this so called perfect white paint to finish off my room. The living room had been freshly plastered and skimmed. I waited for the plaster to dry, done my mist coats before applying this terrible paint. Applying it weren’t easy either, it left streaks on my ceiling wall. I waiting for it to dry. Came back to a crime scene. My new ceiling is ruined. It’s started to flake and peel. I have no idea how I’m supposed to fix this and what the cost of that is going to be. I want Valspar to pay for my damages and to rectify it. This is a joke, I’m not happy and definitely won’t be recommending your products to anyone or using them again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One star is to much. I have bought and used the brilliant white scrub paint in Matt ,I paid a decorator who prepared the walls as explained ,yet still after a few hours cracking has appeared !!! In different areas, this is the second time this has happened as before the same valspar paint used in a ceiling a few months ago also pealed !!. B&Q take no responsibility and are reluctant to help they deny people are having problems with this paint and continue to sell it. After a bit of research I discovered that it has also been featured on watch dog ,yet Valspar and or B&Q seem to ignore it. STAY AWAY FROM VALSPAR PRODUCTS !! After a bit of research I have also discovered

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Walls ruined Oh how I wish I had read the reviews on this paint! My dining room walls are completely ruined and it’s going to cost me a fortune to have them all re skimmed! Spent two days preparing the walls for painting. The first coat the paint was peeling back in places, I thought it may have Ben the Valspar roller as I hadn’t used one before and the paint was so thick. I had to sand down the patches and applied another coat the following day. When it dried the whole lot cracked!!! Absolutely awful, I wanted my dining room finished for Christmas and now I’m going to have to pay to get the damage repaired!! Why is this stuff still on sale Valspar???

Rated 1 out of 5 by from What on earth happened! I bought this product last weekend in order to paint the ceiling on my kitchen diner. B and Q only had the large tin, so I had to pay £44 for the following abysmal results. I have always promoted Valspar products, but I just can't figure out what is going on with this paint. Just like everyone else who has posted comments on here, the area was prepared properly and paint applied in accordance with the instructions, yet I am now faced with the arduous task of stripping it all off of a large ceiling. I intend to ask for my money back, but don't know if that will go well. I'm not going to get back however, all the time I have lost using this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ruined our dining room We bought this paint to use over a very light blue paint, painted it on and literally as soon as it started to dry, it started flaking. Particularly in the corners and around door frames where we had cut in, but literally everywhere. We had to scrape it all off and sand the whole room, including sanding off the previous paint as we thought that it may not have reacted well. Tried again, and exactly the same thing happened. The paint underneath wasn't silk, so should have been fine. Wouldn't waste your money, especially as it's ridiculously expensive to being with!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not use , stay away Used on newly plastered kitchen after being highly recommended by b&q staff, painted after new plastered and lightly misted ceiling all correct procedures of a new plastered room and although read these reviews before hand I was stupidly enough to use and never ever seen a reaction like this . Will be going back to b&q today and looking for valspar to do the the correct response. I got 4 day before my new kitchen arrives and have to take time off work now unpayed ,hoping to repair this mess. gutted spoilt a perfect ceiling

Rated 1 out of 5 by from One of the worst paints I have ever used Disgusting, I purchased this paint from b&q and after the 1 st coat it had peeled up from the edges and developed a crazed pattern, I assumed it was my bad prep, so I scraped all the paint off, sanded the walls and washed them down. Again after re painting it did the same! I still assumed there was something wrong with my walls so I purchased more valspar and a problem wall primer, the valspar cracked and flaked again after applying, I’m so angry that this product is still being sold, as it’s clear, others have had the same experience. PLEASE REMOVE THIS FROM SALE!
